The venue is in the center of Munich at 10 minutes walk from München Hbf (the main railway station) at Mathildenstraße 4, 80336 München (https://ehv-muenchen.de/veranstaltungszentrum/ ).
The streetside of the building where the conference center is, is currently covered by a scaffold — see in the picture. Next to the entrance way it says Mathildensaal on the cover. Please walk through the entrance way into the courtyard. There you see the building where IS-EUD2025 takes place. Looking forward to seeing you there.
The lab tour and reception on Monday evening is at Frauenlobstr. 7A, 80337 Munich on the 3rd floor. This is 10 minutes walk from the conference venue and the close public transport stop is Sendlinger Tor. Light refreshments will be provided.
We invite all IS-EUD participants to join us for a lab tour and reception at the Media Informatics Group at LMU Munich.
This event offers the opportunity to visit our labs and learn more about the research and teaching activities that shape our work in HCI. Ongoing projects from our group will be presented, covering areas such as:
During the reception, our researchers and students will present current projects, share findings, and discuss methods and tools: from hardware prototyping and virtual environments to robots and physiological data collection.
We look forward to lively conversations with colleagues from the HCI community and are excited to provide insights into our research environment and collaborations at LMU Munich.
Here's a quick teaser of what you will see at our lab! Don't miss it!
The social event on June 17th (Tuesday evening) will be at Augustiner am Platzl, located at Orlandostraße 5, 80331 München.

Munich is a walkable city. There are many different companies offering bike sharing (e.g. Call a bike, https://www.callabike.de/en/home and MVV bikes https://www.mvg.de/ueber-die-mvg/unsere-fahrzeuge/mvg-rad.html) as well as e-scooters (e.g. Lime https://www.li.me/de-de/, Bold https://bolt.eu/de-de/scooters/, and Tier https://www.tier.app/en/) – all of these require apps for use.
